Reproduction Specialty Group (RSG) announced the formation of RSG New Zealand in February of 2025, merging two world-class reproductive and genetic services businesses. This strategic venture, led by Dr. John Hepburn, and Dr. Tad Thompson, establishes its headquarters in Hamilton, NZ, serving as a hub for advanced reproductive technology and genetics export.

Cattle Semen Collection
Our semen collection facility is now at 78 Strawberry Fields Lane, Tamahere, near Cambridge. The RSG center is approved for export collections for most importing countries.
Pig Semen Collection
RSG operates a joint venture with Waratah Farms 2021 Ltd for the Pig AI business. Waratah provides the genetics and RSG the semen production. Semen is distributed to piggeries throughout NZ.
